My practice explores thresholds, pressure, and the boundaries of bodies through experiments with balloons and inflatable materials. I’m drawn to sound and noise that are untranslatable but deeply intimate—tones that resemble a human voice, breath, or a wild animal’s cry, yet resist clear identification. These sounds evoke a strange sense of closeness, as if something familiar is calling from an unfamiliar body. Through the resonance between breath and void—shaped by my mouth and vibrating between two skins—memory, spirit, and identity can be conjured.
