This sound installation is part of my exploration of voidness, haptics, and in/deflation.

I want it to inflate itself and smooth out the wrinkles that parasitize the surface of his skin. I want it to harm itself, like a cannibal consuming another’s flesh. I want it to balance itself, like someone in prosthetics striving to stand. But at the end, it exploded. It became a struggling machine that revealed my desire upon object to be self-harm and self-destruction.

It exposed the fragile boundary between control and chaos, leaving behind a haunting reminder of the human tendency to seek meaning in destruction. Through this visceral experience, I invite the audience to confront their own relationships with trauma, memory, and the delicate balance of existence.
